Weekly Non-Fiction Reading List 12.7.20
I finished 8 non-fiction books this week from some great authors, and that puts my 2020 total at 253 books! This week, I finished some books on writing and the writing industry in preparation to start on my next book. And I also read some other great books including one from a gay philosopher asking “What’s wrong with homosexuality?”. Enjoy!

The Business of Being a Writer (Chicago Guides to Writing, Editing, and Publishing) by Jane Friedman
This book is hands down the best book I’ve ever read that’s written for authors. While a lot of books cover getting into the creative mindset or discuss all of the issues with being a writer in a digital age, Jane Friedman educates you about the writing industry and provides you with practical solutions. Rather than saying, “It’s hard to be a writer right now,” Friedman says, “Here are some of the obstacles you’re going to face, and here’s how to overcome them.”
